Ria Ranchan
With the addition of Ria to Stodmaths I am starting to realise just how many incredibly talented and hard working students I’ve had the pleasure of teaching over the years. I taught Ria Maths and Further Maths throughout years 12 and 13. It was immediately clear that Ria was not a typical student by any measure.
I always knew Ria would achieve a double A* in Maths and Further Maths, what I didn’t realise was how talented she was at Economics. Although it’s not really suprising. Ria left school having scored full marks in section B of both paper 1 and paper 2 of her Economics A-level. Section B is the big mark questions!
Ria now studies Maths and Economics at the London School for Economics. She will no doubt go on to achieve a lot more in her life and I recommend gaining her insight while you still can. She is an exceptional Economist, an exceptional Mathematician but most importantly she is emotionally intelligent and hard working.
